First let me extend to you and your family members a Blessed Christmas and New Year
This passage means a great deal to all of us because Jesus came for all of us. LK. 2:11: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Have you ever wondered if you matter? This text says no matter your race, ethnicity, whether poor or rich, whether accept or rejected by society you matter to God so much he sent His Son to save you and me.
Jesus came to bring us peace; "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!"(Lk. 2:14 ESV). Wow, is that a message we need today! Peace from all the division in our world and troubles of this world. Jesus came to bring peace between us and His Father by dying for our sins so we can live in His presence forever and ever. Peace on earth ultimately through bringing a New Heaven and New Earth, but also now by bringing unity among people of all ethnicities through the work of His Son Jesus Christ—his death, resurrection, ascension and soon return. Peace by living in us!
Our response once we repent and believe in Him is one of praised. Glory to God in the highest. All this happened because King Jesus did not come to us as our King in glory but humility, born in a manager, born to die for you and me. He is coming again in glory
Only through Jesus can the world ever know peace. That is what Christmas is all about. God with us, and through Him peace on earth. Again, Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2021!
